Reporting to the Director of Research and Analytics at Pricing Solutions, the SENIOR ANALYTICS CONSULTANT will be supporting our project teams on an ad hoc basis with work in database management, data analytics and modelling.

Key Position Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Tasks
    1. Execute the data modeling & analysis phase of our projects
      1. Prepare data prior to the analysis (ETL, data audit and cleansing)
      2. Execute the preliminary exploration of the data
      3. Build and run the statistical model (regression, tree, cluster, etc.) used in each project
      4. Develop key business insights out of the analysis
    2. Design, develop and maintain pricing tools to be used by our clients
      1. Examples of tools include, but are not limited to, pricing simulators based on real-life transactional data and statistical modeling
    3. Support the analytical needs of PSL’s other teams on an ad hoc basis
  2. Other Tasks
    1. Work closely with the Director of Research and Analytics to understand the technical and non-technical requirements of each project, from the framing of business questions at hand to the delivery of the final recommendations
    2. Participate in internal project meetings
    3. Participate in client meetings on an ad hoc basis

Reporting to the Vice-President of Pricing Strategy and Management, the Senior Consultant will work with clients throughout North America to develop and implement information-driven pricing tools and processes.

Key Position Responsibilities
  1. Project Management – Meet all project milestones for areas of responsibility and manage the collection, organization and archiving of all project related files and documents
  2. Client Management – Build and maintain positive relationships with the client team as well as PSL staff assigned to the project
  3. Quantitative Analysis – Lead all data collection, validation, management and analysis activities for assigned projects
  4. Project Recommendations – develop accurate conclusion/assessments based on data analysis and prepare recommendations, implications and key findings for presentation to the client
  5. Change Implementation – Develop practical implementation plans and work closely with client on implementation of recommendations, once approved

Reporting to the Managing Director of Pricing Solutions UK, the role will primarily be helping clients develop and implement information-driven pricing strategies, tools and processes. As part of the small and growing UK team there is the opportunity to experience all elements of the consulting business; marketing, business development, project delivery and management.

  1. Project Management – Overall responsibility for the management of all assigned projects
  2. Client Management – Build and maintain positive relationships with the client team
  3. Quantitative Analysis – Take the lead on the quantitative analysis, including price optimisation models
  4. Project Recommendations – Prepare project recommendations for change based on completed analysis
  5. Change Implementation – Develop practical implementation plans & aid client execution
  6. Business Development – Contribute to marketing initiatives, developing proposals and closing deals

The position will require significant travel across the UK, with possible trips to Europe, North America, Asia. Outside of client visits, individuals are given flexibility on their working location with the option of working from the office or working from home. The UK office is in central London, near Liverpool Street underground station and consultants will need to be in the office for 1-2 days per week.
